For the 17k dislikers, this song will still be one of the greatest with or without you! Haha

I’m 52 now, and every time I hear songs like this I’m taken back to the 80s. Back when my whole family was still here… my parents, my grandparents. Life felt simple, the future felt endless, and we believed the world would always stay the same. We didn’t know it then, but those were the moments that would become the most precious memories of our lives. The strange thing is… this music never gets old. These songs are becoming immortal. They will keep playing somewhere in the world long after we are gone. But we, the Generation X kids who grew up with this music on the radio and on cassette tapes, won’t be here forever. Little by little, our generation will fade away. The 80s were our time. This music is our legacy. And as long as we are still here, we’ll keep pressing play… remembering the people we loved, the days we miss, and the world as it once was.

If you are listening to this 39 years later, you are a LEGEND!!!

With or Without You!! July 2026 :)

Poor little black girl from Baltimore city and as a teenager U2 music found me. I’m now a 53 yr old woman laying in my bed right now zoning to all of U2 music . Music has no color when it’s just great and timeless ✌🏾
