United KingdomPuscifer is an American rock group formed in Los Angeles by Maynard James Keenan, known as the lead singer of the bands Tool and A Perfect Circle. Initially, Keenan was the only permanent member, and as such he considered the project to be his "creative subconscious". Later, frequent collaborators Mat Mitchell and Carina Round became permanent members. Puscifer's original name was Umlaut, "a premiere improvisational hardcore band". It's not fully realized now, but I believe Maynard will be looked back upon as one of the greatest artist of not just one but two generations. The music his 3 bands have produced is unprecedented.
The guy in the video reminds me of my father. Bodybuilder, marine, won one battle after another in his life. Now he's got stage 4 colon cancer that's spread to the liver. He's been losing his strength and his health, but when you look him in the eye and have a conversation with him, you can tell that young man is still in there giving that cancer a hell of a fight. And I pray he wins. I love you Dad. I got your back. Knock that fucking cancer out.
Is it very rare that one singer ( Maynard) can be in 3 bands and all be completely amazing in every way!!
2026 checking in. we're still here.
BROOOOOOO, I DISCOVERED TOOL A YEAR AGO, A PERFECT CIRCLE A MONTH AGO AND THIS TONIGHT, HOW PERFECT CAN MAYNARD BE?!?!?
