United KingdomPrimal Scream are a Scottish rock band formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie (vocals) and Jim Beattie (guitar). The current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes (guitar) and Darrin Mooney (drums). The band initially performed live between 1982 and 1984, but their profile increased after Gillespie left his role as drummer of the Jesus and Mary Chain. Primal Scream were associated with the mid-1980s indie pop scene before incorporating psychedelic, garage rock, and dance music influences.

Best rock and roll band on the planet. I've been a huge fan since 1983. For those of you that didn't grow up in the rock and roll days of the 80s just let me tell you. It was epic!
From a technical standpoint, this is the best each of them has ever sounded. That bass line, the drumming intro, Vince's powerful voice, and Mick's killer solo and slides. All so perfect.
Mick Mars, most underrated guitarist ever. He was & is the sound of 1 of the most iconic rock bands of all time. Top 5 best to me.
