History Formation and Lineup Changes (2005 - 2009) Periphery was formed by guitarist Misha Mansoor in 2005. He slowly gained a reputation on the Internet, primarily via a regularly-updated Soundclick account, Meshuggah and John Petrucci forums, and the sevenstring.org message boards. Before and during Periphery's tenure in the metal scene, Mansoor developed a reputation for doing his own audio production

Thanks so much for your support everyone! A Pale White Dot is officially out now. It's a very special and very personal album not only for me but for the rest of the guys, so I really hope you enjoy it. As with all Periphery releases, give it some time to grow on you, though I would say this would be one where I would highly recommend checking out the lyrics as they are quite important to the concept of the record. Sweet visualizers with lyrics for every other song should be up very soon! <3
