The parrot brought me here 🤣😝
This song is like "Believe in yourself, motherf*cker! BLEGH!" and I love that, it's so unique.
I love how aggressively positive this song is.
Its so funny how metal now days is more positively charges then any pop songs on the radio, where this masterpiece is not being played.
I love how there are a lot of references to their old songs hidden in these lyrics. "A creature that found a home" → Creatures (album, 2010) "From the ashes I was reborn free" → Reincarnate (album, 2014) "From the grave I was rebuilt by what broke me" → Graveyard Shift (album, 2017) "Dark Inside" → Disguise (album, 2019) "We can’t see the end from the start" → Scoring the End of the World (album, 2022) "So carry the torch in your heart" (and "follow the light in your heart") → "Carry the Torch" (song from Reincarnate, 2014) "Sweat and blood, from Stockholm to Scranton" & "If you mean it, you'll make it" → "570" (song from Graveyard Shift, 2017) "Will you follow me to where love met destruction?" → "When Love Met Destruction" (song from When Love Met Destruction EP, 2009) Am I missing anything else?
