How she’s not as big as Adele or Winehouse I have no idea. Her voice is simply magical.
At the age of 19, Gardot was involved in a bicycle accident and sustained a head injury. Her pelvis was shattered and she suffered severe head and spine injuries which left her unable to walk for two years. It's why the shades stay on – light hurts her eyes – and why she walks with the cane that has become part of her look on stage, performing as a jazz singer. Music played a critical role in her recovery.
Who's in 2-2026? Me.
I did my wedding dance to this song 15 years ago... Today we live apart... But the song will always remain in my heart... Forever...
Saw her live in NYC. Was great.
