Steinway Artist Lang Lang performs Beethoven's "Für Elise" on the Lang Lang Steinway Black Diamond Limited Edition. Of the piece, Lang Lang says: “For me it is very romantic, and light, like a feather. It has to come from nowhere and it has to touch people. It can’t just be treated as background music. I’ve tried to play the piece as the masterpiece that it is, and I hope that children who begin learning 'Für Elise' will treat it the same way.” Learn more: https://www.steinway.com/pianos/stein... https://www.steinway.com https://www.facebook.com/steinway/ https://www.instagram.com/steinwayand... https://twitter.com/SteinwayAndSons #beethoven #langlang #music #classical #steinway #classicalmusic #furelise https://eu.steinway.com/en/pianos/ste... https://www.facebook.com/steinway https://www.instagram.com/steinwayand...
My daughter's name was Elise and, to us, this was always "her song". She was 17 when a childhood cancer took her from us. This rendition is absolutely stunningly beautiful.
Slow. This is the correct way to play this song. Too many people play it too fast. Lang Lang is perfect
Everyone else plays this piece as if to say “I’ve been playing this since I was 4 and I’m sick of it”, but this man plays it like a virtuoso. What a master, thank you
Ludwig himself said: "to play a wrong note is insignificant to play without passion is inexcusable"
