CanadaPeter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister are an Austrian duo best known for their downtempo and chillout remixes. Their remixes are often flavoured with bossa nova or jazz sounds and include songs by a wide variety of artists from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to Depeche Mode and from Roni Size to Madonna. In 1993 they released the 4-track EP G-Stoned featuring the hypnotic "High Noon" and a cover mimicking Simon & Garfunkel to critical acclaim especially from the UK. Gilles Peterson played the track at first on his famous now called Worldwide-show.

I never forget Kruder and Dorfmeister. Its nostalgic for me! Its in the 90ties when I heard them for the first time .l was in my 20ties and loved it directly and in love with this first lounge music. I bought it the next day! Double cd❤❤❤ Now 52 and still Im in love with it!!! Timeless❤❤🎉🎉🎉
I was just out the Army, and my therapist told me to go pick up some chill ambient style music. I walked in the Virgin store and the guy handed me this. I used to listen to this at night before going to sleep for about two years, this was about 18 years ago. I recently have been having some recurrence of issues and surprisingly I saw they are in my area doing a live set. This is coming at the right time, the career I started at the time, I just retired from. A city that I was thinking about leaving but held on and they will be here live with the Sessions in September.
