CanadaDermot Kennedy is a singer-songwriter and musician from County Dublin, Ireland. Kennedy studied for a degree in pure music at the National University of Ireland in Maynooth County, Kildare. He performs live with a full band, including a drummer, bassist, lead guitarist, and violinist. He is signed to Interscope Records and released a collection of previously released songs, Dermot Kennedy, on 4 January 2019 through Riggins Recording Limited. His debut major-label studio album, Without Fear, was released on 4 October 2019.

I'm 37 years old and have three amazing and beautiful children who are far too young for me to be leaving them now. I'm receiving palliative care and am fighting so hard for every breath just to be with them an extra day but every day gets so much harder. Don't think there will be a tomorrow never put things off, don't get too comfortable thinking you're promised a tomorrow. You really never know when you'll be called home. I want them to play this at my funeral cos I'll always be with my beautiful children. ❤️
